This album was released over a year ago, but I don't believe it was ever mentioned on the official board or website.
Ben Shepherd contributes on the previously released songs Pill Hill Serenade, One Way Street, Kimiko's Dream House, Low, Resurrection Song, To Valencia Courthouse (previously unreleased), A Song While Waiting (previously unreleased), Blues for D (vocal version, previously unreleased), Big White Cloud (previously unreleased), Blues Run the Game (live, previously unreleased)
The last song is actually taken from the "Lola's Lounge" bootleg, which Ben played bass for the entire show. I encourage any Ben Shepherd fans to get into Lanegan, get onto dimeadozen, and find the Lola's Lounge show!

This probably explains some of the vocal influences on Ben's solo album "In Deep Owl." In Deep Owl is a very worthy listen - you can here the makings of Soundgarden in some of the tracks.
Thanks for sharing, somehow I must have missed this. And I agree Mark Lanegan is definitely worth getting into...

Ben appeared on some of ML's earlier albums, not much recently. These previously unreleased songs were nice to finally hear. Anyone with a dime account really should try to DL the bootleg of the Lola's Lounge show- it's amazing.
