@ 09challenger
The band was really on their game that day. The guitars were burning up the place and the rain falling during Black Hole Sun was unreal. Thanks for the Video and whoever uploaded it.

Sorry I don't have a video to share today.... but by any chance do you still have those youtube to mp3 rips of the Superunknown Isolated Blu Ray Tracks which were removed from youtube? I would love to listen to these again. Please let me know if you have them and I can help you upload and send them. Adding them to google drive could be an option?

Thanks for posting this. It always makes me LOL. Chris was so intense back then and wanted perfection, 1994 what a year.

anyone know if those videos of Superunknown in that DTS 11.1 speaker sound are still out there? I'm not always one for tinkering and remastering the originals (unless from the vinyl analogue) but that remaster was badass. In the meantime, hope everyone's 4th was fun.
Gangsta stuff right here..

^^^^^ Thanks for posting that! You know, for the longest time, Head Down was my fav on Superunknown, and then at some point it changed to 4th of July. I don't ever listen to it once. I loop it. It's like I am compelled to loop it, but I don't know why. What I do know is that when I'm done listening I feel relaxed, almost like I've had a massage or something or like it's safe to be in this unsafe world.

I was hoping to find an alternative source which does not require smartphone and app. ... Or are you referring to the blu-Ray isolated tracks from Superunknown? Unfortunately the YouTube videos got taken down, but Nick the Greek managed to grab a few tracks as MP3 files and kindly shared them. I have 4 tracks.... Let me Drown, Like Suicide, 4th of July and Limo Wreck... Let me know if your interested? If anyone finds the rest of the isolated tracks or alternative source for dts remaster please share.

^^ Brother Sound, The DTS Headphone X remaster stuff. Spoonman in particular sounded incredible. One could use any kind of headphone and get the experience. There were a couple of videos on you tube, plus a link from the old forum, but neither are attainable anymore. Sista PM, interesting take on 4th. I like it. I could see a person drifting off when Chris starts singing.... And I heard it in the wind, etc. Speaking of Chris, I was trying to dig up Mailman's time sig. I'm no expert but I think it's 5/4, came across an excerpt where Michael the Bean said during studio recordings of Mailman, The Reverend fried a bunch of mics when wailing that last part of the song. Smoking mics, cracking building foundations, causing O2 deployment masks The roar of 94, Ah yeahhh babe. Here's some vinyl action

Like Suicide (isolated vocals)
I know that it was posted in this thread a while back but the video was deleted and has just been uploaded again. I just love all these isolated tracks!
