I haven't found a thread like this in the forums, so here I go... Share everything Soungardenish that happened to you when you were laying in Morpheus' ethereal arms.
I'll start with a dream I had recently.
I was sitting in the co-driver seat in a car and we were running through the city at night. Pretty Noose was blasting in the stereo and, instead of being weird or anything like it happens in most dreams, if was sounding perfectly. Everything was in its right place an all. So, the solo does its thing and just after the bridge ends... the final chorus kicks in. BUT suddenly it changes to some kind of 50s laid back music piece and it's Marge Simpson who's singing the whole thing. I hear her voice and I'm like "WTF? This version just kills the mood!". But it doesn't end there. Then comes a second chorus with Homer harmonizing over Marge's voice.
At that point my mind couldn't take it anymore and I woke up.
It was a very lame version, I swear.

LMAO. So you mean to tell me Homer was singing the "Haaaaangiiiinn froooommm" part? That's great.
Unfortunately, the dreams I've had were really messed up. At least one of them was. I was doing whatever in my dream, and this news story finds its way into the dream: Some sick bastard claimed "Blow Up the Outside World" inspired him to wreak absolute havoc on Seattle. I mean this guy somehow set up enough bombs to completely destroy the city. It was a horrible disaster, however not a direct threat to me, as I live in New England. What was really weird was that Ringo Starr had apparently been on tour, and he was in Seattle when it happened. Paul McCartney was on the news talking about how he hadn't been able to contact Ringo. Then I woke up, but for some reason, I feel like I remember finding out Ringo was safe before waking up. Maybe I'm just remembering that, "Oh, it was just a dream" feeling.
