Cheers to that! Right now I would be happy to hear absolutely anything in regard to the progress of the new album.
I'm really worried we might not get a new album before the year is out! Actually I'm really struggling to see how it will arrive this year unless they are all hush hush and drop us big surprise. I suspect they are taking their time which is ok.... but I demand new music now!
Chris is back on tour so who knows... In regard to the boxset I will believe it when I finally see it - Kim takes decades to get his act together (no offence Kim) he just seems to run in chill mode!
The most recent Kim sighting was at McCready's 50th b-day bash. Crazy thing I never knew is McC. birthday is april 5th. The unfortunate DOD of Cobain and Staley. Mike Starr, the band's original bassist was born one day earlier. April 4th, 66. Musically and tragically, these guys were connected from day one.
Here's Matt in PJ's most recent video. At least he doesn't seem too interested in Edward's snail mail invite from the Miami Heat. This is heinous. PJ is touring the states again, so SG news might not be for awhile.
PJ going on tour??...This is mad heinous... Matt "the rat" getting his chedder on.... Snake moves....
I scrolled down a lil on PJs page.....Ah man, that brother Dave Bambarouzi is on the run....That poor brother is a fugitive..."Manufacture or delivery of substance" ....Sounds like he was up in the kitchen cooking rocks...or fronting like the Dominos delivery brother with the meths in the pizza bag... ....If you back track the steps in Bambarouzis degeneration , all trails lead back to Eddie Chedder. ...n he's wanted out in Texas....fuggedaboudit.....This brother might end up n the gallows.
Ah man, the brother Abrumbuzee. I hope that brother didn't bulid a make shift lab next to the drum studio. This is heinous. And if he got the Texas Rangers after him, Fuggeddaboutit. Vedder laid the dismissal on him n the streets of Seattle and it's been a lifetime scramble. Laid the plans then sent in Stone Gizzard to deliver the news. A rat move indeed.
Brother Sound, Lol. No doubt. Kim goes into chill mode no matter what the occasion is. Slips on the Haji shoes and cranks up Doom Metal. A playboy bunny could be knocking on his back door and he wouldn't answer. Maybe after Chris' tour and PJ's, some SG news will happen.
Dave "the fugitive" Ambrouzi aka the original METHod man.....Right about now, that brother is wild eyed, armed n dangerous.
He got hoodwinked, bamboozled, led astray....Straight up n down hornswoggled.....The poor brother never recovered. How could you. ......Chedder handed him his dream, pulled the wool over his eyes, then stuck it to him limp and sideways....Fink style. Grease in one hand n a chunk of cheese in the other....
Kim, forget it......He was working on the b sides for 25 years.

Man I'm hurting here..... I've been reduced to listening to albums on YouTube but changing the speed just to keep the albums fresh.
1.25 speed on older stuff makes them sound like a punk band, except on Gun which sounds like Chris singing with Metallica at some points.
I'm going through Superunknown right now.
Let Me Drown, Mailman, 4th of July and Head Down sped up are monster riffs. Mailman is arguably better than the regular version.
Put Limo Wreck on 1.50 speed if you want to know what a chipmunk going through puberty sounds like over sinister music. Head Down on 1.5 is probably a bad acid trip.
Reverend Cornell: Converting the masses to Soundism one soul at a time
Ah man, this is heinous. The Brother Supermotor is trying to a get a you tube on, n they keep tripping and changing the pitches/speeds. All that copyright nonsense and the fans just wanna share and listen to the music. I think there was a Black Rain video like that once. The poster tuned it all down and slowed it down. Ugh. Didn't do much for me.
No news on the new album...no news on the documentary either...I send a tweet to Banger Films about it and got no reply....Woulkd be great if the record is released by the end of the year along with the documentary and some kind of making of the album on DVD or as part of the documentary released....one can only dream...
Yes...we need something, anything, any information regarding the new record! And what about the reissue of Ultramega OK? They totally forgot about that too.
“I’m still an angry dude. I’m just older. I still push the band to be heavy and dark—that’s always been my role.” - Kim Thayil
Ah yeah babe. The brother (though who knows how long it could take) could slowly be coming out of chill mode. Put B sides on hold again. Jack Marino never returns calls. Still thinking heavy n dark. Let's do this brother Kim.
Kim is the man when it comes to keeping the band focused on doing the nefarious. The one thing about Soundgarden is their ability to sound so different from album to album. King Animal was very good and had a good mix of softer to darker songs. Nothing really heavy though, so it would be nice to see a real heavy album just to see how dark and dangerous the bottom is.
KA Soft to Hard
Halfway There <-> Blood on the Valley Floor
My favorites are Non-State Actor, Taree, Been Away Too Long, A Thousand Days Before.
Kim was talking that "heavy" stuff before KA came out n that album wasnt heavy .....
KA...its a good album, but for me, its underwhelming. I love alot of the sounds, and directions of some songs, but as a whole, the songs mostly dont do it for me.....BCS for example. Im digging the riffs, the verses etc....but there are certain parts thrown in there that kinda mess up the song as a whole for me.....Or Bones of Birds.....I think the verses are great, but i dont like the chorus at all....and the last half of the song is pretty much all chorus...... I very rarely go for it to throw in the deck.....n when i do, i'll usually listen to 3-4 songs n pop it out for another one of their albums....
Kim gotta step up his game cause i really didnt hear much of him on KA. .....I hope the next album to has a lil more aggression to it.....More guitar driven.
Favorite tracks are Non State Actor and Taree.....Also liking BOTVF,Rowing, BCS, Bones Of Birds...
