Nirvana, Soundgarden, & Alice in Chains are in my opinion the best music that came out of the early 90's. That whole Grunge Movement or whatever ud like to call it was the greatest time in music. Today's music just doesn't evoke the same emotions that those bands have. I can listen to MTV Unplugged AIC on repeat or Soundgardens Superunknown and it'll never get old. Well, I found a band the evokes those same emotions I felt back then and let me tell you if these guys get discovered then watch out. It might trigger a new generation of great music. Please check these guys out from New Jersey, their name is Mind Riot and you can listen to their songs here www.battleofthebands.com/u/MindRiotBand If you like what you hear then please spread the word about these guys. Like, Comment, Share and do whatever you need to to to get these guys heard. I know their recording an 8 song CD and two of the songs "Perfect Sky" & "Antidote" can be found on that link.

While there will always be great music out there.... somewhere, I'm not sure we will ever see a rock movement in the same way as the past. Don't get me wrong, I am convinced we will se a resurgence of rock but I highly doubt it will be as big or as culturally powerful on a global scale as in the past. Society has changed a lot and the way we communicate and access music is very different. One minute something is viral the next minute it is irrelevant. Unfortunately a lot of people just don't value good music, creativity, the album as a whole concept or live shows etc. While good music never becomes irrelevant, I think the next so called rock movement will be more like lots of smaller movements.
I hope and dream that one day a new rock movement will have as big an impact as in the past.
