There is no way any amount of remastering could make this masterpiece any better. (unless of course they could make it 5 mins. longer) This song is simply perfect in every way! Hear hear- I agree! I can't see how this album / mastering could possibly be improved which worries me that the remastering may actually diminish the sound quality. I can totally understand Chris wanting to have it re-released with the correct name.... but the only thing that could possibly make this album any better is an extended edition!

ha. I saw that image of Chris, him delivering Mission in Reverend like vocal sermons. I didn't get to the end of the post, and thought.. I bet that left the Sista CMBK mega scrambled. Turning up the cold water for a Sister. Fuggeddaboutit.

Yeah, remastering the original diddy could spell some diaster. I did like the Ten remaster though. But anyway, another check for Euphoria Mourning.... Nope. This brother at the store really did some digging. But came up with nothing. Not even a changed release date. No vinyls were in the store either. Now a brotha is in Mourning this is heinous

Quoted from Non-Music threadIt's countdown to CC's new album. I like what I've heard so far. Euphoria Morning remaster....I should probably post this on that thread, but kickoff is coming up here soon. I got both the CD and the vinyl. The vinyl....now that's still a silly subject because in all this time I have been collecting vinyl, I still have yet to buy a record player. There is a one that needs to be fixed in the basement that moved in with my husband, but I guess when we're all old it will still be there, and there will be a stack of vinyl unopened on the shelf. Anyway, I've only listened to the CD in the car, and the main difference I hear is more atmospheric sound coming from the percussion. There are other differences, but that's the main one my ears hear. Seeking a Friend for the End of the World always had that but now it's more pronounced....like shooting stars and comets and meteors whizzing all over the place, and the loudness of said whizzing is a little distracting being that I am used to the original version. There's weird noises on other songs too. At least they got the title right. I have heard two stories about the title from back when....the one where someone talked CC into "Morning" and one where it was an error. Either way, "Mourning" suits it better, but then I liked the idea of waking up in the am all euphoric n all. Amazon had a pic of the old one with "Morning" next to the offering for the new one, so I waited for a couple of reviews to pop up to make sure it was the right one, and it was. Thanks... I was eager to know how the remaster turned out. From what your saying it sounds like it has been done well for the most part.... no loudness/compression!? Where I live the release has been delayed yet again - I can only hope this doesn't happen with Higher Truth!

The atmospheric noises were pretty loud. They were seriously distracting, coming from one who has listened to the original over and over. It was like having the sound of the cosmos in your car....that is a bit of an exaggeration, but I think most who are familiar with the original would notice a big difference. On my first listen I was so surprised at how loud the noises were, and then on my second I was laughing out loud. It would not be unusual for me to have an unusual take on something, so that may explain how I came to find it to be funny. I did notice a little more vocal clarity here and there come to think of it.

Ugh.... It turns out Higher Truth has been pushed back a week (25th September) where I live! I can get iTunes version but I really wanted the whole package and liner notes on release day. * P.S. Make that 9th October for Higher Truth Deluxe!!!

^ Man oh man, this is downright heinous. A brother down under can't catch a break. The hammer got laid on us by the former forum. Before the dust even settled, the Brother Sound went to work. Got the game rolling and created our new awesome home. Sorry, don't mean to be so wordy, but they best better get the dates right on CC releases for you mates!
