Mother Mary have mercy on a brother. Good heavens. Either I don't remember clicking on this one or it just was re-posted on you tube. Chris offered some stirring live versions of this one on the first Songbook tour.... When he sang the part And now the ride is over, even those idiots talking during the song shut up for a sec. And the wail at the end.. Ah yeah babe. That brother was roaring Scrambled

Chris Cornell - One U2 / Metallica fusion An amazing cover of two songs at once! One + One = Chris Cornell Genius I love the intro he gives to the song.

Seeing as today marks 8 years since the (USA) release of Carry On....
Billie Jean (Unplugged in Sweden):
Billie Jean (Album Version):
Chris turns this song into a whole different animal from the original. It is probably the highlight of a not so great album. However I prefer the stripped down acoustic version more.

A brilliant and rare rendition of Seasons in 1999.

I haven't listened to this cover in a while! It's basically Temple of the Dog (minus Stone & Ed) covering Jimi Hendrix....
M.A.C.C - Hey Baby (Land of the New Rising Sun)

The Rev killin' it.....
No one loves Brotha C more than me....Maybe as much, but not more. Man, i wish he still had that insane power/growl/roar in his voice. Its pretty much gone these days. His regular singing voice is still incredible. When he sings in his soulful style, he can still let it rip like a BOSS.....But on a lot of his songs these days when he goes all out, his voice isnt anywhere near the stratosphere it used to be in....No resemblance. I miss the growl....Thats father time for you...but combine how good his "regular" singing voice sounds these days with that power to blow down buildings in 94.....fuggedaboudit....

^^ me either. Chris laid it down as always. There's a Scream b-side/unreleased tune... Love comes Down or something to that name. Haven't ever found it on the Net. The Rev. caught a lot of flack for that album, but it's my number 2 on his solo catalog.
