Chris is such an amazing vocalist. Infact the 90s had so many great singers with amazing talent and creative soul. Many of the 'supergroups' and side projects could easily have been amazing bands in there own right. I'm sure Temple of the Dog, Mad Season (and Audioslave) could easily have continued making great music which touched people (or rather blew them over!).
Although of course the spontaneity and background to these groups forming is special and it would be wrong to expect these side projects to keep making music under that banner. I would not want to see Temple of the Dog or Mad Season to make new music under those names but I am totally open to these collaborations and any new music to come from them.
Infact I would love to hear Chris collaborate with Eddie Vedder or Mark Lanegan (or why not both!).
Not Chris related, but I would also love to hear what was going to be the second Mad Seasons album (or more correctly Disinformations 1st album). I know we got to hear the 3 re-worked tracks on the Mad Season Above Deluxe re-issue... but there are more unreleased tracks that may never be released or heard. I would totally dig Mark Lanegan singing on some of these tracks. I love Slip Away from the deluxe reissue!
Having said all this, I'm so happy Soundgarden is back together making new music and touring.

I walk the streets of Japan till I get lost 'Cause it doesn't remind me of anything With a graveyard tan carrying a cross 'Cause it doesn't remind me of anything
I like studying faces in a parking lot 'Cause it doesn't remind me of anything I like driving backwards in the fog 'Cause it doesn't remind me of anything
The things that I've loved the things that I've lost The things I've held sacred that I've dropped I won't lie no more you can bet I don't want to learn what I'll need to forget
I like gypsy moths and radio talk 'Cause it doesn't remind me of anything I like gospel music and canned applause 'Cause it doesn't remind me of anything
I like colorful clothing in the sun 'Cause it doesn't remind me of anything I like hammering nails and speaking in tongues 'Cause it doesn't remind me of anything
The things that I've loved the things that I've lost The things I've held sacred that I've dropped I won't lie no more you can bet I don't want to learn what I'll need
Bend and shape me I love the way you are Slow and sweetly like never before Calm and sleeping we won't stir up the past So discreetly we won't look back
The things that I've loved the things that I've lost The things I've held sacred that I've dropped I won't lie no more you can bet I don't want to learn what I'll need
I like throwing my voice and breaking guitars 'Cause it doesn't remind me of anything I like playing in the sand what's mine is ours If it doesn't remind me of anything

I love Star Dog Champion from this show! It rocks! The whole show was awesome of course. Chris sounded amazing and if I may say he looked pretty fine as well.

Preach on Brother Greek. Now we got the jams going. Lost Cause is my fave of the Scream B sides. Yeah, dunno why The Rev caught so much slack for the Scream record. I like it. I rank it over Carry On in his catalog. To be continued though as his upcoming new solo effort is on the way. They woulda spun it up in the Palladium had it been released then. Ah yeah babe
