Ah yeah babe! Watching the videos now (and repeating). And yesterday was only night number one. Sista PM, how cool y'all went! Thanks for the review! Concert of a lifetime fo sho. I agree with ya on Times of Trouble. Reverend Cornell razzlin n dazzlin on the harmonica. Ah yeah babe. The David Bowie cover was good. And MLB's Stargazer. Sigh. That tune has always been a fave, and now means even more. Still gotta spin 4 Walled. 25 yrs. later and the boys haven't missed a beat. That album is really geared for McCready, (mad season too) Some of his finest musical moments are on it. Reach down was jammin. And I TRUCKING love Matt's kit. Ah yeahhh babe. The color, the design. the logo. Hey, We got to see Soundgarden live in 2016. 50% anyway, Lol. Thanks BG for the old school Say Hello to heaven video. Finally in its entirety. The brother Jeff Abbott. If he did this entire mural/painting, gotta give the brother props on his graffiti game. There was also some kind of Mother Love Bone deluxe release yesterday, to coincide no doubt. The deluxe Temple tunes... a lot are on you tube too. So much to listen to! This is glorious. www.youtube.com/watch?v=AwaVF8vnCK0

5th November - Tower Theatre, Upper Darby, PA, USASetlist:
The setlist is mostly identical with the following exceptions... * Rive of Deceit (Mad Season cover) * Missing (Unreleased Chris Cornell, live debut) I'm sure most of you will have heard Missing before but it's great to hear a live debut of the song. It was released on a promo disc and floating around as an unofficial bside.

My experience is enhanced by taking it all in....the performers, their mannerisms, the musical sounds, the crowd, excitement, what we had to do to get there, etc. I like a moment by moment way of using my senses. So....I hope y'all don't mind the beyond the performance observations. Aftermarket shock....the tickets sold out so fast, and we do not live anywhere near any of the the venues, so when I suggested going, we had to make room in my husband's work schedule (I can work flex hours) and in our budget. We overpaid like never before, and I can't even bear the thought of typing the numbers here and looking at them one more time. This was our Merry Christmas, and even then it was way over what we would have spent on each other. It made it impossible for us to go to one of the World Series games. I can can truly say it was worth every penny. We got there so late we missed the warmup performer, and the poster was sold out. SEPTA (the Philly bus system)....was on strike. So....there were way more cars in an already busy city. It took us an hour to go the five miles between the restaurant and Tower Theater, and then we were in line outside for a long time. Among the crowd in line there was confusion about whether the doors open time was 7:00 or 8:00. We thought it was 7:00 because I saw that online, but most people thought it was 8:00 because that was the time on the ticket. Had we thought it was 8:00 we would have missed the beginning of TOTD. If any of you are from Philly....I gotta say....y'all have some crazy drivers in your city. I've driven in rush hour traffic in LA, NY, Chicago, Boston, Atlanta, and a number of other large cities, and I have to say y'all get the award for having some of the craziest drivers in the US. Here are some pics of the sold out poster: Attachments:

The videos versus the live performances:
FYI....I have watched some of the videos, and my observation is that where CC sounds a little out of tune here n there online, that was not the case in person. I have a really good ear for that sort of thing, and I did not detect him being at all sharp or flat.
The energy:
The crowd had some of the best spectator energy and enthusiasm I have seen. It is, in fact, probably the best I have experienced. It was like we were a big family. The band had that going on too.
The hair and body movements:
I have only been going to SG concerts since Detroit 2013, and I do not recall the swinging CC hair before the Nov 4 TOTD performance. He would bend his head forward a little and swing his head back n forth with his hair flyin. He was doing this during strictly instrumental parts. I have seen concert footage from back in the day, and I can't remember whether he did this or not.
He was also way more demonstrative with his hands and whole body. It was fun to watch.
Maybe the nature of the songs allowed for more of this than SG songs?

This is heinous. A sista drag raced to Philly, a bus strike, crazy drivers, avoiding Rocky when he went running by made the show... and poster, it sold out. Thanks for linking up the image, Nice one. Chris mannerisms? Never noticed too many, only one is he puts his left hand on the mic stand and sings. Seems he does that fairly frequently while singing. Love this performance of Seasons from NY. it's nice to hear the songs with a full band behind Cornell. Good video quality too. At the beginning Chris mentions a song Nowhere but you. Didn't realize he wrote that song then. thought it was a B side from Euphoria Morning. Still have the maxi Cd of that one. That song once reminded me of someone. Now it reminds me of a different person. The latter being the better Next up on the tour... is Frisco?

An isolated version of "Your Savior"! I can't get enough of these isolated vocal tracks! And Your Savior is one of my favourites from TOTD. What's he singing at the end: Cry, hide your faith or fate? Can't figure it out.

Oh, my God. "Baby Lemonade" and "Achilles Last Stand" in the same set as a bunch of MLB and Temple of the Dog songs, being performed by TOTD themselves? So this is what envy feels like.
